After incessant phone calls from my dearest mother for many weeks, I finally decided to take advantage of my break to make a trip home to Ottawa. I managed to spend a whole week with my whole family without wanting to throttle them (well for the most part anyways).

I haven't been home in months (!!!) so I missed everyone too bits and pieces so I made sure that I spent every single minute with them until even my mother felt suffocated and insisted I go out. Sorry friends for not spending more time with you.

My parents fed me as if I just came back from the moon; they made sure I was stuffing my face with food from the moment I got up to the moment I went to bed. Safe to say, I've gained quite some pounds and I will need to bust out my back-up New Years Eve dress.

Despite turning tubby, it was a lovely vacation from my current vacation.

I spent a lot of time with this kiddo.
